SMTP Server Configuration

Get prompt responses from a friendly, professional and 

 

To begin with Mail Configuration:

Step 1: Go to app.MagentaBi.com

Step 2: Settings > User Settings > App Settings > Associate Mail

Follow the steps below, and configure your Email account for Verifying to Magenta.

For Gmail:

Click Here and then

Option 1 ( Recommended ):

Step 1 : Signing in to Google Account > 2 – step verification > Turn it on > Validate the Account > Done.

Step 2 : Generate an App Password for Magenta – it would be a 16 character password

Now, you can go back to the settings page in MagentaBi App. Enter the Details.

UserName – your Email Address

Password – ( Will be 16 characters ) you received on-screen ( Note: Save this password for future reference )

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com Note : (In case, if you have changed the server settings, enter the details accordingly )

SMTP Server Port: 587 Note : (In case, if you have changed the server settings, enter the details accordingly )

Step 3: Send OTP! After this, you’ll receive the OTP on Registered mail ID to Associate your Mail Address

Step 4: Enter the OTP – Verify it

Step 5: Select the option ” Selected for Mail use ” in Settings of ” Use For ” Then Save Settings & Done – Now you can send Mail to your Customer from Magenta Platform

Option 2:

:Step 1 : Signing in to Google Account > 2 – step verification > Turn off > Validate the Account > Done

Step 2 : Less Secure App Access section > Turn it on > Toggle it to Right > Done

Step 3 : Now, you can go back to the settings page in MagentaBi App. Enter the Details.

UserName – your Email Address

Password – As per your Email

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com Note : ( Incase, if you have changed the server settings, enter the details accordingly )

SMTP Server Port: 587 Note : ( Incase, if you have changed the server settings, enter the details accordingly )

Step 3: Send OTP! After this, then you’ll receive the OTP on Registered mail ID to Associate your Mail Address

Step 4: Enter the OTP – Verify it

Step 5: Select the option ” Selected for Mail use ” in Settings of ” Use For ” Then Save Settings & Done – Now you can send Mail to your Customer from Magenta Platform

For Yahoo:

Step 1: In Yahoo, you can go to Account Info.

Step 2: Click on the Account Security tab on the left.

Step 3: Enable 2-step verification. Select ON.

Step 4: Go to Other ways of Sign in > Click – Generate.

Step 5: Enter App name as ” MagentaBi “

Step 6: Generate Password and Copy that

Step 7: Now, you can go back to the settings page in MagentaBi App. Enter the Details Now.

UserName – your Email Address

Password – As per your Email

SMTP Server: smtp.yahoo.com Note : (In case, if you have changed the server settings, enter the details accordingly )

SMTP Server Port: 587 Note : (In case, if you have changed the server settings, enter the details accordingly )

Step 8: Click Send OTP! You’ll receive the OTP on Registered mail ID to Associate your Mail Address

Step 9: Enter the OTP – Verify it

Step 10: Select the option ” Selected for Mail use ” in Settings of ” Use For ” Then Save Settings & Done – Now you can send Mail to your Customer from Magenta Platform

For Outlook:

Step 1: In Outlook mail , Select > View all Outlook Settings

Step 2: In View all Outlook Settings, Select Email > Sync Email > Check SMTP Settings

Step 3: Now, you can go back to the settings page in MagentaBi App. Enter the Details Now.

UserName – your Email Address

Password – As per your Email

SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com Note : (In case, if you have changed the server settings, enter the details accordingly )

SMTP Server Port: 587 Note : (In case, if you have changed the server settings, enter the details accordingly )

Step 4: Click Send OTP! You’ll receive the OTP on Registered mail ID to Associate your Mail Address

Step 5: Enter the OTP – Verify it

Step 6: Select the option ” Selected for Mail use ” in Settings of ” Use For ” Then Save Settings & Done – Now you can send Mail to your Customer from Magenta Platform
